The family reunion is going to be on the 20-22 of July. This is a tenative schedule of events for those days.
Friday: Afternoon, arrive and set up camp. There will be a pot luck dinner that night at 7:00 pm for all who are interested, then songs and stories around the campfire.
Saturday: After breakfast, we will have a road rally beginning at 10:00 am. We will have clues and learn about the different spots around town that the Rasmussen's made famous! In the affternoon there will be opportunities to see the parade and take in the festivities in town, then we will have some relay races, or sports of some kind. Dinner will be all together, I will work out the cost and let everyone know what it will be. We will be having barqued pork sandwiches, salads, chips and Mom's Zucchini Chocolate Cake for dessert. I'm trying to figure out a way to have a real hoe down after dinner.
Sunday: Will be a relaxed day to just enjoy the activities that your family likes. Some people will probably be traveling home that day.
Like I said, this schedule is tentative and if anyone has any suggestions, please feel free to chime in. I am going to ask each family to come up with a relay race for the kiddos.
