a great Christmas
Don and I had a wonderful 3 week Christmas in Utah. A couple of times the snow fell just like it does in the movies, you just don't get that is San Antonio. I had a chance to spend time with Madolyn who is cuter than words can say. She is putting three words together now and quite the little mother to her "baby" doll. Her smile just lights up the day. I'm telling you, granchildren are one of the greatest joys in life. We spent part of Christmas eve with Rog and Boyd at Angie's house. It was great. The rest of the time was spent painting Stacey's kitchen and bedroom, and Shandra's nursery for their baby boy that is due on March 5. Now that we're back home, reality steps back in and I am busy buying books for school, and reviewing everything I have forgotten (in math) . School starts on the 16th of January.

next time you say that grandchildren are the greatest joy of life, I want you to remember that you wouldn't have those grandkids if it wasn't for your precious kids :)
Well let's get down to the bottom of this discussion ... if it wasn't for me our kids would not exist and therefore our grandkids would have been impossible. So good thing I'm around ;)
